We collaborated with an external client to develop a user-friendly website for selling second-hand tools.
Project Overview
In this group project we were tasked to create a website for an external partner.
My role in this project involved UX/UI design, visual identity development, and user research. The design process started with a thorough needs analysis and competitive research, identifying pain points in existing platforms such as Klaravik, Tradera, and Blocket. The visual identity was crafted to balance professionalism with accessibility, incorporating a clean layout, intuitive navigation, and a strategic color palette to enhance usability and trust.

Deep Blue – Represents trust, reliability, and professionalism.
Vibrant Orange – Adds energy, visibility, and a sense of urgency, making CTAs stand out.
Branding
The branding process focused on creating a modern, trustworthy, and functional identity for Nextool. The goal was to establish a strong, recognizable brand that conveys reliability and efficiency while remaining approachable for a broad audience.

Nextool caters to two primary user groups:
Sellers (construction professionals and companies) who need a way to sell excess tools and materials.
Buyers (DIY enthusiasts and private consumers) looking for cost-effective, high-quality tools with reliable purchasing options.
To ensure an optimal experience for both groups, the platform was designed with:
